Support

Email hello@kehrandco.com. Every message is answered within two business days, by the person who wrote the software.

That two-day promise is on the Marketplace listing, which makes it a constraint on the product rather than a nicety: if it ever becomes impossible to keep, the listing copy changes before the promise is broken.

From inside the add-on

Open the sidebar and choose Email support. It takes two fields — the address a reply should go to, and your message — and it tells you before you type anything exactly what travels with it: your plan, how many rules this spreadsheet has, and the last three rows of the run log reduced to a date, one outcome word and four counts. The rule names and the log’s detail column are removed on the way out, because those contain your own words. Nothing from your cells is ever attached.

If that form cannot reach the server for any reason, it tells you so and gives you the address above instead of failing quietly.

What to include

  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • The dates and outcome words from the top few rows of the Duly log sheet — that is usually enough on its own.
  • Whether the rule was on, paused, or showing “Needs attention” in the rules list.

Please do not send a copy of your spreadsheet. It is almost never needed, and I would rather not have it.

Common answers

Nothing has been sent

Open the Duly log sheet. If the newest row says Skipped, the detail column says why for every row — a stop condition matched, an address was missing, a date could not be read, or the reminder had already been sent. If there is no row at all for the last day, the rule may be paused, or the trigger may have been stopped by Google; opening the sidebar and turning the rule off and on again re-creates it.

It sent twice, or it stopped sending after I changed a date

Duly records each row-and-offset it has already sent, so it never sends the same reminder twice. That also means changing a date after a reminder went out does not bring that reminder back. The rules list has “Resend from the beginning for this row” for exactly that case.

“Not enough email quota”

Google allows roughly 100 email recipients a day on a consumer Gmail account and roughly 1,500 on a Google Workspace account. Duly sends the most urgent rows first and logs the rest as deferred; they go out on the next run once the quota resets.

I want my data deleted

Everything Duly keeps about your spreadsheet is in your spreadsheet: delete the rules from the sidebar and delete the Duly log, Duly log rows and Duly state sheets. For the licence hash and any support messages on the server, email me from the address concerned and say so — see the privacy policy, section 8.

Reporting a security problem

Email hello@kehrandco.com with “security” in the subject. I will acknowledge within two business days. Please do not test against other people’s spreadsheets.
