One product, three plans, one price change a year at most. The free tier is a working product, not a trial, and it does not expire.

What the free tier really includes

The run log and the watchdog are the two things that make Duly worth trusting, so they are in the free tier. A crippled free tier that turns into a payment wall five minutes after install is the single most common complaint about add-ons in this category, and it is not how this one works. The limits — one rule, 100 rows a check — are stated on the rules list before you have made a rule, again once you have one, and again in the preview above the button.

Support is the same on every plan. Two business days, from the person who wrote the software, whether you are paying or not. It is not listed as something Pro includes because it is not something Pro includes — it is what the product promises everybody.

How buying works

You buy from inside the add-on: open the sidebar, go to Plan, and follow the checkout link there. Payment is taken by Stripe. Checkout asks which Google account the licence is for, and the add-on then keeps only a one-way hash of that address — see the privacy policy.

There is no “buy” button on this page on purpose: a checkout link belongs next to the account it will be attached to, not next to a marketing page.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

• Subscriptions are yearly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. Paid features run to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the add-on carries on as the free tier — it does not stop sending and it does not lock you out of your own log.
• A full refund within 30 days of a payment, for any reason, by emailing hello@kehrandco.com. After 30 days, ask anyway.
• Existing subscribers keep their price through at least the next renewal.

What Team is, exactly

One purchase, one invoice, up to ten Google accounts including the buyer’s. The buyer hands seats out and takes them back from the Plan screen in the sidebar. Everyone on a seat gets the paid limits on their own spreadsheets.

Team does not share rules between people. A seat gives someone the paid limits, it does not put them inside somebody else’s rules, and Duly is not going to grow that feature. Because only hashes are stored, the roster lists a seat by the day it started rather than by name.

Why $39

It is one job, done properly, that would otherwise be a script somebody has to maintain. The paid tiers of the nearest comparable add-ons sit between $29 and $50 a year; $39 is deliberately in the middle of that, with the parts that make it trustworthy left in the free tier rather than held back.
